Introduction of National Trade Protection
The National Trade Protection Council (NTPC) was established to protect and motivate the Sri Lankan entrepreneurs by improving their knowledge and developing strong and versatile entrepreneurship that enable them to stand together with international trade.
The main objective of our organization is to assist the entrepreneurs who struggle to resettle loans from the bank and other financial organizations due to crisis situations in the country such as April 2019 Easter attack and Covid19 pandemic. The entrepreneurs became victims of the banks and other financial organizations as tend to pressurize them with terms and conditions.
In such situation NTPC was able to stand as unified voice for the entrepreneurs and lobby for necessary actions to face it.
Based on that NTPC was able to form a huge social opinion for local entrepreneurs and brought together around 30,000 entrepreneurs through 450 local trade leaders within 6 months. We wish to inform this as a huge victory for us.
Vision
Creating empowered local entrepreneurs by protecting and developing entrepreneurial and technical knowledge.
Mission
Building a strong entrepreneurial community that can contribute to our national production through technical knowledge, skills and attitudinal enrich entrepreneurs in Sri Lanka.
